These prices are, necessarily, only estimates and will vary quite a bit depending on how complex or simple a given page's construction and visuals are. For a more precise quote please contact us to discuss exactly what you want for your pages.
For a small business, or independent artist, this price covers a layout with simple backgrounds and only a few content pages. A logo is not included in this price. The Challenging Casanova book promotion site was about this price, as the client supplied the images and did not want a blog option.
|Base site design||$3000.00||
This price may be higher or lower depending on the complexity of the site itself. Something like the WCU site redesign which required little content migration is about $1500. Something like the S.J. Tucker site required a lot of content migration and reformatting, and would be closer to $3500. The more time and work required to format and structure the site's information, the higher the cost.
|Extensive image manipulation||$80/hour||
Backgrounds, link and header formatting, and a simple logo if necessary, are included in the basic design cost. So is simple positioning or formatting of client-supplied images.
If many other images need to be generated or manipulated, that will cost extra. This could run anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, depending on the images in question.
|Conversion of existing site content||$80/hour||
Transfer of limited content is included in the base design price. If many or extensive pages must have their content transferred or reformatted to the new design we will charge for that work.
The price will vary depending on the complexity of the image and design the client desires. If licensed stock images are used, the cost of the license will be added to the design cost. If public domain images are used, or the client supplies images, there will be no additional cost.
